Some Christians are criticizing a new Narnia film

(SRNN NEWS)- The latest installment, “The Magician’s Nephew”, is still in the works.  But the issue is director Greta Gerwig’s announcement that the character of Aslan — the lion who allegorically represents Christ — will be voiced by actress Meryl Streep.  While Strep is a three-time Oscar-winner, critics point out that Aslan, both in the books and in previous film adaptations is MALE.  Many on social media are expressing concern about what the movie will look like.
