The Defense Department gets a new addition

(SRN NEWS) – Secretary Pete Hegseth is establishing an Office of Religious Affairs at the Pentagon, saying that the spiritual health of America’s fighting men and women needs attention.  Hegseth says the office will report directly to him and will “protect free exercise, remove policy barriers, identify unmet requirements, and secure the support needed for the Service chaplaincies to succeed.”  Over 90% of U.S. service members identify as religious.
