Oct 15 (Reuters) – Kimberly-Clark on Thursday reported preliminary third-quarter sales and profit above Wall Street expectations on the back of steady demand for its products including Huggies diapers and Kleenex tissues.

• It expects adjusted profit of $1.70 per share for the quarter, above estimates of $1.59

• Shares of the company rose 3% in premarket trading following the preliminary results

• The company is set to complete its roughly $40 billion acquisition of Kenvue in a massive deal by the end of the year
