(Washington, DC) — President Trump says Republican voters didn’t like some of the GOP candidates on the ballot in Tuesday’s midterms. Speaking to Fox News after Democrats regained control of the House and Senate, Trump said the voters just weren’t inspired. He again said the GOIP did poorly because he wasn’t on the ballot. Trump added the results may be due to the war with Iran, but most Americans understand how important it is for Iran not to have a nuclear weapon. The President conceded that Democrats “did a good job,” but added he will be quick to veto any bill he doesn’t like.
(Undated) — Media reports project Democrats have flipped control of the Senate. Democrats won key, and historic races tonight in Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, and elsewhere. Democrats also flipped the House, and now control Congress.
(Little Rock, AR) — Media reports project Republican Tom Cotton has won re-election in the Arkansas Senate race. Cotton defeated Democrat Hallie Shoffner to win. He was heavily favored to earn a third term.
