In a post on Truth Social Sunday, Trump wrote that Stevens “showed great and almost unprecedented loyalty to the Great People of Michigan with what she did.” The announcement comes after Stevens clashed with Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed over Israel and antisemitism claims in the battleground Senate race. It led to El-Sayed reportedly asking her to skip a campaign rally that she was supposed to attend today.
