Most people do not believe in the virgin birth

(SRN NEWS)-According to a poll from the American Bible Society, only 49% of adults say they believe Christ was at least probably born of a virgin.  ABS says that’s the first time in years of polling that the percentage has slipped below half.  In fact, various surveys have indicated that belief in the supernatural nature of Jesus’ birth in this country has been declining for decades.  The ABS poll finds that only 62% of Americans believe in the supernatural at all.
