Trump: AI Vital For American Growth, Innovation

(Washington, DC) — President Trump is hailing Tuesday’s White House summit on artificial intelligence. Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson hosted Elon musk, and the heads of Anthropic, OpenAI, Nvidia and others as fears grow over the rapid advancement of AI. Trump touted a document signed by the tech leaders that lays out a series of safety commitments around the advancement of AI. Trump said the leaders agreed to self-police themselves and Johnson pledged government oversight without over-regulation. The President said AI is vital to American growth, and pledged that “Artificial Intelligence” will henceforth be called “Super Intelligence.”
