Wells Fargo commercial banking head Manning to retire, Biodrowski to succeed

Sept 14 (Reuters) – Wells Fargo said on Monday that John Manning, executive vice president and head of commercial banking market coverage, would retire at the end of the year after more than three decades with the bank.

• Manning’s career spanned over 40 years in financial services, Wells Fargo said.

• Chicago-based Rob Biodrowski will succeed Manning as head of commercial banking market coverage, starting in November.

• “I’m honored to take on this role and build upon the strong foundation John and our teams have created,” Biodrowski said in a statement.

• Biodrowski currently serves as a division executive for the U.S. Midwest within Wells Fargo commercial banking.

• He has over 20 years of financial services experience spanning commercial and investment banking leadership roles.

• In his latest role as head of Wells Fargo’s commercial banking market coverage, Biodrowski will lead over 2,000 bankers serving clients across the U.S. and Canada.

• Market coverage serves companies with annual revenue usually ranging from $25 million to $2 billion across industries and sectors, according to Wells Fargo.
