Congressmen issue a warning about assisted suicide

(SRN NEWS)-  A bipartisan group of lawmakers has sent a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr, urging him to monitor the 13 states where it is legal for a person to take their own life with the help of a doctor.  The y say “There are grave informed consent issues within physician-assisted suicide.  Less than one percent of patients receive mental health referrals.”  Republican Senator James Lankford and Democratic Senator Tim Kaine authored the letter.
