A leading Canadian doctors group selects a new leader

(SRN NEWS)-Natasha Johnson is taking the helm as the president of the Canadian Pediatric Society.  Her selection has sparked concern in some quarters because she is a vigorous advocate for sex-change operations on children.  Dr. Johnson says concerns about whether teenagers are equipped to make good decisions about life-changing surgeries are “overstated”.  She founded a gender diversity clinic at McMaster’s Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario.
